John was born about 1651 in Plymouth Co, MA. John's father was Moses SYMONSON and his mother is Sarah UNKNOWN. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Aaron, Moses, Thomas, Rebecca, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the eight children. John and Mercy were married in a religious ceremony on November 16th, 1669 in MA.1 They had seven sons and two daughters, named John, William, Isaac, Benjamin, Joseph, Joshua, Moses, Martha and Rebecca.

William Simmons
William was born on February 24th, 1673 in Plymouth Co, MA. He died at the age of 92 in 1765 in Newport Co, RI.
Rebecca Simmons
Rebecca was born in February 1685 in Plymouth Co, MA. She died at the age of 76 on August 3rd, 1761.
Moses Simmons
Moses was born in February 1691 in Plymouth Co, MA. He died at the age of 70 on June 21st, 1761.
