Jennet was born on September 28th, 1783 in St. Issells, Pemb, Wales.  Jennet's father was George REESE and her mother was Ann DAWKINS.  Her paternal grandparents are James REES and Elizabeth UNKNOWN. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Henry, John, James, Thomas, Benjamin, Charles, David, Elizabeth, Jennet and Jennet.  She is the third oldest of the eleven children.
