Ane was born on July 28th, 1765 in Svendstrup, Blovstrod, Fredricsborg, Denmark. Ane's father is Peder Christoffersen and her mother is Maren Albertsen. Her maternal grandfather was Albert Larsen and her maternal grandmother is Kirsten Hansen. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Albert, Anders, Andreas, Christoffer, Hans, Andreas, Lars, Ane, Ane Marie and Kirstine. She is the fifth oldest of the eleven children.-
