Karen Olsen 
Karen was born on May 16th, 1842 in Romold Farm, Kleive, More og Romsdal, Norway and her baptism took place on June 12th, 1842 in Kleive. Karen's father was Ole Andersen and her mother is Mildri Hansen. Her paternal grandparents are Anders Olsen and Christi Andersdatter; her maternal grandparents were Hans Amundsen and Kari Alvsen Alfsen. She had four brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Amund Andreas, Anders, Lars, Ole, Kristi, Anne Maria Olsen and Hans. She is the third oldest of the eight children.-
