Rudolph II was born about 0902 in Burgundy, France. Rudolph II's father was Rudolph I Magnus and his mother was Willa of Vienna. His paternal grandfather was Conrad II Magnus and his paternal grandmother is UNKNOWN Ermentrude; his maternal grandparents were II Boso and Iremgard of Francia. He had a sister named Willa. ence. Rudolf renamed this enlarged kingdom, stretching from Basel to t
he Mediterranean and from the modern Italian-French border to the Sarne-Rh
one, the kingdom of Arelate (after the city of Arles); by the twelfth cent
ury, the term "Burgundy" was reserved for the county and the duchy.
After Rudolf II there followed a series of weak monarchs on the Burgu
ndian throne, and when Rudolf III died without an heir in 1032, the kingd
om passed over to the GERMAN EMPERORS."
‌Rudolph II were married in a religious ceremony in 0921.1
