Sarah GRIFFITH

Sarah was born in 1783 in ,,Va.  Sarah's father was Richard GRIFFITHS and her mother is Martha PROUT.  Her paternal grandfather was William GRIFFITHS. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Stephen, Richard, Stephen, Elizabeth, Mary, Martha and Rachel.  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 76 on August 31st, 1859 in Oats Landing, Marion, Tn.  She was buried in September 1859 in Oats Cemetery, Marion, Tn.
