David was born about 0169.1 David's father was John Fowler and his mother was Ann or Anne Johnson. His paternal grandparents were John Fowler and Mary Hubbard. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Samuel, Joseph, Benjamin, Mehibabel or Mehitable and Ann or Anna. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died in October 1796.1 General Notes
