Anne was born about 1358 in Essendine, Rutland, England.  Anne's father was Edward Despencer and her mother was Elizabeth Dedist of Columb Burghersh. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Edward, Hugh Le, Thomas Le, Cicely, Margaret, Elizabeth and Phillippa.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.  She died on October 31st, 1426.
