Gautier (Walter) was born in 0962 in Vexin, Normandy.  Gautier (Walter)'s father was Gautier (Walter) De Gouy and his mother is Adele De VEXIN.  His paternal grandfather is Raoul (Ralph) De Gouy; his maternal grandfather was (Comte) Fulk I D'ANJOU and his maternal grandmother is Roscilla De La HAYE. He had a half-brother named (Comte) Gautier II.  He died at the age of 65 in 1027.
