ROBERT De Belleme was born in 1053.1 ROBERT De Belleme's father was ROGER De MONTGOMERY and his mother was MABEL TALVAS. His paternal grandparents were HUGH De MONTGOMERY and JOSSELINE De PONTAUDEMER; his maternal grandparents were WILLIAM TALVAS De BELEME and Hildeberge (Bildeburge) d' Beaumont. He had two brothers and two sisters, named ROGER, ARNULPH, MATILDA (MAUD) and SYBIL. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 78 on May 8th, 1131 in WARHAM CASTLE, WHERE HE WAS IMPRISONED.1 General Notes
