GEOFFREY was born in 1184.¹   GEOFFREY's father was GEOFFREY FITZPIERS and his mother was BEATRICE De SAY. He had a sister named MAUD FITZGEOFFREY.  He is the younger of the two children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named JOHN, CECILY and HAWISE.
