EVA was born in 1220 in BRAMBER CASTLE, BRAMBER, SUSSEX, ENGLAND.1 EVA's father was WILLIAM 'BLACK WILL' De BRAOSE and her mother was EVA MARSHALL. Her paternal grandparents were REGINALD De BRAOSE and GRACE (GRACIA) De BRIWERE; her maternal grandparents were WILLIAM 'THE PROTECTOR' MARSHALL and ISABEL FITZGILBERT De CLARE. She had a brother and five sisters, named PETER, MAUD (MATILDA), JOAN, ELA, ISABELLE and ELEANOR. She was the second oldest of the seven children.
