Philip was born about 1346 in Exeter, DEVO, Eng.. Philip's father was Hugh of Devon Courtenay and his mother was Margaret Bohun. His paternal grandparents were Hugh of Devon Courtenay and Agnes St. John; his maternal grandparents were Humphrey VIII of Hereford Bohun and Elizabeth of England Plantagenet. He had a brother and a sister, named Edward of Godlington and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the three children. He died on July 29th, 1406 in Exeter, DEVO, Eng..General Notes
