John De Courtenay 
John De was born about 1172 in Of, Courtenay, Galinois, France. John De's father was Pierre Emperor Of Constantinople and his mother was Isabelle Elizabeth De Courtenay. His paternal grandparents were Louis VI King France and Alix Countess Of Savoy; his maternal grandfather was Renaud (Reginald) Courtenay and his maternal grandmother is Hawise De Donjon. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Peter II De, Robert De, Philippe De, Guillaume De, Tochter De, Alix De, Eustachia De, Clementia De, daughter and Constance De. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died after 1221.-
