Herbert was born in 0938 in Of Auxerre. Herbert's father was Hugh UNKNOWN and his mother was HEDWIG UNKNOWN. His paternal grandparents were Robert I King France and Beatrice De Vermandois; his maternal grandparents were HENRY UNKNOWN and MECHTILDE (ST MATHILDA) OF RINGELHEIM. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Hugh, Otto (Odo) Henry 'The Great', Emma and Beatrice. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Hugh Capet King, Otto Eudes, Heinrich I, Herbert Hugues, HUGH, Edith Of, Princess Beatrix and Princess Emma. He died at the age of 58 in 0996.-
