James CHASE 
James was born on February 12th, 1706 in Swansea, Bristol, Ma and his baptism took place on February 19th, 1706 in Middletown, Rhode Island. James' father was Isaac CHASE and his mother was Elizabeth BLETHEN. His paternal grandparents were William III UNKNOWN and Hannah SHERMAN; his maternal grandfather was John BLETHEN and his maternal grandmother is Jane Le Marcum MARKS. He had three brothers and a sister, named Waitstill, Issac, William and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 76 on April 20th, 1782 in Middletown, Newport, Ri.
