Thomas of Mellent was born about 1315 in Beaumont, WARW, Eng.. Thomas of Mellent's father was Henry of Buchan Beaumont and his mother was Alicia Comyn. His paternal grandparents are Louis of Maine Brienne and Agnes Beaumont; his maternal grandfather was Alexander of Buchan Comyn and his maternal grandmother is Johanna Latimer.
