John Jonathan Tinsley 
John Jonathan was born about 1721. John Jonathan's father was Edward Tinsley and his mother was Margaret Talliaferro. His paternal grandparents were Thomas S Tinsley and Sarah Jackson; his maternal grandfather was James Taylor. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Edward, Isaac, William Wyatt, David, Joshua, Sarah, Elizabeth, Harriett and Mary. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died in 1816.General Notes
