Hart Co. Legislator 1871-1872 first Democrat elected after the C. war. He is buried at the Northview cem. in city of Hartwell. He is buried to the right of Claudius C. Jones (1844-1915) and Mildred McCurry Jones (1856-1934). His grave is marked with a marble marker which is in fair condition. There is no evidence of his wife or any other kin in the immediate area.
