Bessie Tubbs

Bessie was born in 1913.  Bessie's father was Thomas Berry Tubbs and her mother was Frances J. Stanfield.  Her maternal grandfather is Marion Stanfield and her maternal grandmother was Elizabeth G. Slaughter. She has four brothers and four sisters, named Leroy, Alton W., Clinton, Raymond, Emma, Rosalee, Linnie and Ruthaell.  She is the third youngest of the nine children.
