John B. Stokes 
John B. was born on October 24th, 1808 in ,,NC. John B.'s father was Daniel Stokes and his mother was Mary "Polly" Levin. His paternal grandparents are Thomas Stokes and Mary Norman. He had five brothers named Thomas, Levin, Charles H., Pinkney R. and Jerome B.. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 44 on December 5th, 1852 in ,Kemper County,MS. He was buried in Pleasant Springs Baptist Church,Kemper County,MS.
John B. were married in a religious ceremony in March 1846.
