Enoch G. was born in 1828 in TN. Enoch G.'s father was Anthony Stewart and his mother was Mary Donahue. His paternal grandfather was Hamilton Stewart and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Bledsoe. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Anthony, Blecher, John, William, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Sarah Wesley and Symantha. He has three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Isaac Gonce, Hamilton P., Samuel W., Margaret Jane and Ann.General Notes

2nd Ltn., b. 1828, Franklin Co., TN, s/o Anthony Stewart and Mary Donahue. He m. Nancy Agnes Holder.~ Residence, Winchester, trader. Enrolled April 29, 1861 at Winchester as 2nd Ltn, aged 34; admitted April 8,1862 at General Hospital No 18, Richmond, VA, with rubela; term expired April 27, 1862; succeeded as 2nd Ltn. by George W. Bowers.
Enoch G. and Nancy Agnes were married in a religious ceremony on October 3rd, 1847 in Franklin Co.,TN. They had three sons and a daughter, named William C., Anthony Grover, Wallace B. and Susan E..

Anthony Grover was born on April 3rd, 1851 in Deckard,Franklin Co.,TN. He died at the age of 83 on November 17th, 1934 in Lorenzo,Lubbock,TX. He was buried in Lorenzo Cemetery.
