Ezekiel's father is Israel Small and his mother is Sally Barton. He had eight half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Asahel, Lemuel, James, James, Robert, Ephraim, Ezekiel, Cyrus, Susan, Dorcas, Nancy, Eliza, Phebe and Sally Barton.
