James Mace Skaggs 
James Mace was born on February 25th, 1893 in Green Co.,Kentucky. James Mace's father was Lewis Young Skaggs and his mother was Mary Susan Thompson. His paternal grandparents were Henry David Skaggs and Ruth S. Salsman; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Jonathan Thompson and Mary Ann Warren. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Robert, Edward McClain, George Albert, Marvin, Marcus, Florence, Darcus Ann and Flocia Carrie. He died at the age of 62 on October 12th, 1955 in Kentucky. He was buried in Mt. Moriah Cem. Mt. Sherman,Kentucky.-
