Cloa Judith was born in 1816 in North Carolina. Cloa Judith's father was John Warren Sams and her mother is Agnes Blackwell. Her paternal grandfather was James Sams and her paternal grandmother is Mary Agnes Warren. She had six brothers and four sisters, named James B., Warren, Gabriel C., John Price, William H., Larkin, Mary Polly, Delitha, Orra and Miranda. She is the youngest of the eleven children.-
