Arthur Lee was born on September 30th, 1914 in Prairie View,Logan Co.,Arkansas. Arthur Lee's father was Frank John Rotert and his mother was Mary Appoppnia Fox. His paternal grandfather was Florenz R. Rotert. He had three sisters named Margaret Marie, Rose Louise and Lena Ealizabeth. He is the youngest of the four children.
Arthur Lee and Virginia Lee were married in a religious ceremony on September 30th, 1938 in Paris,Logan Co.,Arkansas.
