Granddaughter, Ella Bouldin says of her Grandmother," I have heard my father say how exceedingly neat and orderly she was; and from reading her letters I see that she was very religious."
Almeria Kennon and James Wood were married in a religious ceremony on July 22nd, 1829 in Charlotte Co.,Virginia. They had four sons and a daughter, named Robert Jouett , Dr., Powhatan, Edwin Edmunds, Louis Contesse and Harriet Ann.
