Her paternal grandparents are John Pierce and Cynthia Underwood; her maternal grandparents are Allen Warren and Nancy Jane Skaggs. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Robert L., Henry Lewis, Orly, Cordelia D., Etty T., Ivy Green, Julia F. and Oklahoma. She had a half-brother named Orly. She died at the age of 77 on November 16th, 1974. She was buried in Otter Creek Baptist Church,Larue Co.,Kentucky.-
