Henry Thomas and Martha Jane were married in a religious ceremony on November 16th, 1843. They had four sons and four daughters, named Thomas Hertell, Henry James, Owen, Warren Breckinridge, Belle, Julila, Katherine 'Kate' and Nancy Virginia.
