Benjamin McLeod 
Benjamin was born in 1816 in North Carolina. Benjamin's father was Peter McLeod and his mother was Sarah McCaskill. He had ten brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, Roderick, Farquehard, Norman C., Allen, Peter ,Jr., Archabald, John, Kenneth McCaskill, Sweyn, Nancy and Catherine. He is the sixth youngest of the thirteen children.
