William Smiley McFarland 
William Smiley was born on February 25th, 1819. William Smiley's father was John McFarland and his mother was Mary Keahey. His maternal grandparents were John Keahey and Martha Jackson. He had two brothers and a sister, named George Jackson, John Brown and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 5 in June 1824.-
