William Jackson McFarland 
William Jackson was born on July 31st, 1855 in Jasper Co.,Mississippi. William Jackson's father was John Brown McFarland and his mother was Flora McCraney. His paternal grandparents were John McFarland and Mary Keahey. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named George Calvin, John Roderick, Kenneth Virgil, Sarah Jane, Mary Isabelle, Margaret Jeannette, Ida Katherine, Martha Ella, Vivian Evelyn and Flora Edith. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 70 on January 5th, 1926.-
