Thomas Loftin 
Thomas was born about 1798. Thomas' father was James Loftin and his mother is Susannah Sherrill. His paternal grandparents were John Loftin and Martha Lanier; his maternal grandfather was Adam Sherrill and his maternal grandmother is Sina Corzine. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Edmund, Henderson, John, Mary, Elizabeth Johnson and Nancy. He died on January 30th, 1842.-
