Anna Laurene was born on July 28th, 1918. Anna Laurene's father was Kenneth Fleming Huddleston and her mother was Flora Edith McFarland. Her maternal grandparents were John Brown McFarland and Flora McCraney. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Fleming, Lucian Paul, Haydn Hamilton, Kenneth Foster, Barkley Martin, John Maxwell, Richmond Elmo, Charity Kathlyn, Sallie May, Flora Ruth and Edna Grace. She is the youngest of the twelve children.-
