John F. Harrison 
John F. was born about 1850. John F.'s father was Robert Bell Harrison and his mother is Ritha Robertson. His paternal grandfather was John Harrison and his paternal grandmother is Naomi m.n.unk. He is an only child.General Notes
John abandoned his family about 1890 or 1891. Some Harrison decendants hold that he was fighting in the Civil War but he was too young for that conflict. Sarah Ritha Harrison (my grandmother) related that she had to take up nursing at age 12 to help support the family because her father had abandoned them.
They had three sons and four daughters, named William G. W., Thomas R., Columbus, Martha E., Sarah Ritha, Randy Luiza and Ruby.

Sarah Ritha was born on April 6th, 1879 in Edinburg,Neshoba,Mississippi,USA. She died at the age of 84 on June 10th, 1963 in Greenwood,Leflore,Mississippi,USA. She was buried on June 13th, 1963 in North Bend Methodist Cemetery,Neshoba County,MS.
