William Grigsby

William was born in 1688. William's father was John Grigsby and his mother is Sarah Jane Prosser. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Grigsby and Elizabeth Bankes. He had four brothers and a sister, named John , Jr., Charles Wilkerson, James, Thomas and Mary Ann. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 76 in 1764.

They had three sons and four daughters, named Richard, John, William, Margaret, Alice, Lettice and Ann.
