Matilda Ann was born in 1832 in Green Co.,Kentucky.  Matilda Ann's father was Hampton Graham and her mother is Maria Mariah.  Her paternal grandfather was William R. ,3rd Graham and her paternal grandmother is Nancy Elizabeth Lynn. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Bedford, John Henry, Catherine, Melia and Jane.  She is the youngest of the seven children.
