His paternal grandfather was William R. ,3rd Graham and his paternal grandmother is Nancy Elizabeth Lynn. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named William, I. Ellis, John B., Robert, Elijah, Freeborn, Berry D., Gallant, Mecajah, Susan Betsey and Mary Pauline. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 58 on May 7th, 1865 in Springdale,Washington Co.,Arkansas. He was buried in Friendship Cemetery,Springdale,Arkansas.-
