James Wiley was born in March 1858. James Wiley's father was Moses Graham and his mother is Deborah Jane Lynch. His paternal grandfather was William Graham and his paternal grandmother is Leah Bloyd. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Benjamin Wesley, Charles G., Cleveland A., Talitha Jane, Mary Polly, Rebecca Ann, Edith Leah, Doris, Emily, Martha S. and Lucy. He is the fourth oldest of the twelve children.-
