David Shelton was born on April 6th, 1868. David Shelton's father was Robert Hodgen Graham and his mother is Mary Frances Shelton. His paternal grandfather was Joseph H. Graham and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Lewis. He had a brother and two sisters, named Emmett Hodgen, Serepta and Elizabeth E.. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 76 on May 11th, 1944 in LaRue Co.,Kentucky. He was buried in Magnolia Presbyterian Cemetery,LaRue Co.,Kentucky.-
