His paternal grandfather was William R. ,3rd Graham and his paternal grandmother is Nancy Elizabeth Lynn. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Felix Garrison, Joel George, Robert Hodgen, William Johnson, Joseph H., Elizabeth, Clara, Nancy O. and Sarepta J..
