Zelma Matilda's father was Henry James Ford and her mother was Minnie Augusta Myers. Her maternal grandparents were William Lorenzo Myers and Eliza R. Miller. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Malcolm Fairley, Casper Carlile, Cecil Edgar, James Durant, Oscar Harris, Aubry Philip, Maud Eva, Ila Grey and Ada Ree.-
