Walter was born in 1882. Walter's father was Joseph A. Edwards and his mother was Mary Jane Gross. His paternal grandfather was Matthew Williamson Edwards and his paternal grandmother is Lucinda Argentine Reed. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Williamson, James Claude Harrison, John Roy , Sr., Albert, Charley Lee , Sr, Martha Jane, Mary and Edna. He died at the age of 76 on September 14th, 1958 in Clarksdale,Coahoma County,Mississippi.1 -
