Silas Edwards 
Silas was born in 1831 and his baptism took place in 1862 in Died as a result of Civil War.1 Silas' father was John , Sr. Edwards and his mother was Mary Loftin. His paternal grandparents were James , Sr. Edwards and Anna Reynolds; his maternal grandfather was James Loftin and his maternal grandmother is Susannah Sherrill. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Matthew Williamson, John , Jr, Jesse, James, Alexander, Lorenzo Dowe, Jacob, Elizabeth Ann, Rebecca, Susan and FNU. He died at the age of 31 in 1862.1 -
