Mable Maxine was born in 1927 in Green Co.,Kentucky. Mable Maxine's father was Ivy Lee DeSpain and her mother is Ida Pearl Clark. Her paternal grandparents were Marshall DeSpain and Alice G. Warren. She had two brothers and two sisters, named James Marshall, Carl Eugene, Alta Lee and Beaulah Bernice. She is the third oldest of the five children.-
