Alma DeSpain 
Alma was born in 1910 in Kentucky. Alma's father was Richard Marshall DeSpain and her mother was Ida Frances Skaggs. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Thomas DeSpain and Sarah Frances Warren. She had three brothers and nine sisters, named John Thomas, Raymond Alex, Everett C., Nora A., Mary Gertrude, Lona Beatrice, Amy Frances, Nora A., Delcie Marie, Stella Kathleen, Grace Louise and Nettie Darlene. She is the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.-
