Mellie Jane Crook

Mellie Jane was born on February 11th, 1867. Mellie Jane's father was Benjamin Telfair Crook and her mother was Martha Elizabeth Chastain. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Crook and Winney Norwood. She had seven sisters named Telulah Ann, Ada Lorena, Mary Winnie, Katie Vienna, Lillian Rebecca, Benja Elizabeth and Sarah Frances. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 83 in November 1950.
