Sarah Elizabeth Cox

Sarah Elizabeth was born on February 28th, 1827 in Horry Co.,South Carolina.  Sarah Elizabeth's father is Peter Cox and her mother is Rebecca Vaught.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 89 on November 25th, 1916 in Milam Co.,Texas.  She was buried in McCann Cemetary,Bell Co.,Texas outside of Rogers on Fm 437 south..

‌Sarah Elizabeth and George A. Marsden were married in a religious ceremony on November 12th, 1847 in Horry Co.,South Carolina.  They had four sons and a daughter, named John Peter, William Bellamy, Edward E., George D. M. and Rebecca Jane.

‌Sarah Elizabeth and Edward Wesley were married in a religious ceremony on November 5th, 1856 in Bell Co.,Texas.  They had two sons and three daughters, named Frank, Lorenzo Franklin, Louisa C., Dora Virginia and Mary.
