Martin VanBuren was born on October 15th, 1884 in Rogers,Bell Co.,Texasd. Martin VanBuren's father is John Henry Carlton and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Hillyard. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Hillyard and Christian Elizabeth Graham. He had six brothers and four sisters, named William Henry, John, James Carrol, George Winfield, Robert Guinn, Earl Raymond, Etta Green, Saletta Elizabeth, Ruth May and Grace Cornelius. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 101 in 1985 in Ft. Worth,Tarrant Co.,Texas.-
