John Daniel Bohannon 
John Daniel was born on December 19th, 1826 in Kentucky.1 John Daniel's father was William Bohannon and his mother was Jane 'Jennie' Wilcoxson. His maternal grandparents were Daniel Wilcoxson and Sarah 'Sallie' Faulkner. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Abraham, Samuel, Hiram, William Jr., Marion, Francis Marion, Sarah 'Sally', Frances, Pamelia M., Martha and Mary Jane. He is the second youngest of the twelve children.-
